Long story short: about 5 months ago my house was completely destoyed in a fire. I’ve been living the worlds smallest apartment. And they are finally almost done rebuilding our house. My parents said because me and my twin sister have been through so much we can do our room ANY way we want. So, I need some REALLY REALLY REALLY good ideas because for me, this is a once in a lifetime chance. My parents would usually never let us do our room how we want it. So anyway, here are some details:
Me and my twin share a room, we just started high school so I was thinking a teenish styled room, our favorite color is purple so any colors that go with that would be helpful!! And anything else you can think of!! Thanks!!

So I am renting an apartment and I can’t change the wall color (white) and the whole apartment is white. The living room/dining room contains: a black couch and chair, a black side table with a black lamp base and red shade. The kitchen table is black and the chairs are black with a red seat. I am thinking about adding more red into the living room, but I’m not sure how. Any ideas with be welcome. I’m sick of looking at black and white!

a website that lets me design my bedroom. I just moved in 2 an apartment and need some ideas.

I live in an apartment and I cannot make an excessive amount of holes in the walls or apply wallpaper that i would have to go through the hassle of removing when i leave. I have design ideas that require full wall patterns and I am trying to think of any way to come up with an idea to mock wallpaper, I’ve thought of going to kinkos and having the pattern printed on gloss paper but…what is a good way to attach it to the wall that is easily removable? I am trying to replicate a room into a disney ride so, the gloss paper idea would work, i’m just not sure how to get it up seamlessly

I will be getting the keys to my apartment in 2 months and i am not fully decided on how the renovation should be done.I want a modern and uncluttered look for my apartrment.
My apartment is on the top level with a very high roofing which i can build a second level.However,on the second level,due to the slope of the roof(slopes on 2 sides), only the centre area can be used for construction and living.The side areas cannot be used as the ceiling is too low.
My question is, how should i design and renovate the side areas of the second level to make it look more appealing?I intend to convert the second level into a large bedroom and study area,prefably an open concept with no walls.
Anyone has any design ideas please contribute.

Any ideas on how further to market private swim Lessons in the Tacoma-Seattle area this Spring/Summer?
I drive to people homes and apartments with pools and give private swim lessons. I also meet the clients at some community pools and give lessons there.
So far I have done craigslist and I am in the middle of designing an internet site.
What do you think of putting an add in the paper, etc, etc?

Ok all you FRIENDS fans. I am a huge FRIENDS fan I have all the episodes and there was the one when Racheal is wearing this yellow dress with i think it was flowers and a lil bird on it. It kinda looked like a chinese design almost. Does anyone have any idea where I can find a picture of that dress or replica!! Im going to a wedding and that is the type of dress I want to wear. In the episode she is walking into Monicas apartment wearing the dress I tried to find the episode last night but I got too tired!

So my fiance and I live in an apartment and although we are allowed to, we have decided not to paint the nursery because we don’t plan on living there for more than another year and anything we do, we have to undo before we move out. So I am in desperate need of good ideas for decorating the walls in there (they look so bare!) and for some reason I am having a huge creative brain fart. We just bought the curtains and they are mostly white, with very intricate, pretty floral designs on them in all different colors, but mostly bright pastels, and rather than go with a theme, we are just going to try and match up colors.
Any ideas would be appreciated!!!
