Decorating my apartment with pictures question?

Should I just stick with one collection? Or can I mix it up? Wasnt sure since it is a 1 br apartment. Like can Ihave 1 picture by the dining room table, one diff one near the living room, a couple diff in the bedroom?

I would say mix them up some black and whites, and colors are always great, Ikea always has cool stuff.
Its your apartment . You can have different selections but keep them separate in different rooms.
I like pictures to cover up the blank walls.
Just don’t hang them too high, like 90% of straight people do.
Well im moving into a one bedroom as well and im doing my own art work and it will be diffrent in every room colors and designs so in my opinion i would say do some diffrent if that is what you like!!!
I’d stick with a theme rather than a collection. If you get all the same art from one artist, it might be boring to look at. Finding a theme, then mixing it up color and black and white adds interest to a room.
Choose frames that are similar and you can mix up whatever artwork you want in them. For example, choose all wood frames or all metal frames. Best bet is to pick a color of frame like black or silver and stick with that. This unites all of your photos. Even if you find a frame that you love and it’s not in your chosen color, buy a can of spray paint and make it yours. I am really fond of gold frames so that’s what I have.
mix it up, do each room according to its style, color furnishings, flooring, etc.
i have black and white photos framed in chrome in my bedroom (sage walls), huge italian bistro framed posters in my kitchen (brick red walls), two Diego Rivera prints in my living room(tan walls),and a huge Aztec ceremonial mask on my ocher dining room wall…. each looks good in its own setting.
just try and avoid too many pics on one wall. just one pic or related group of pics per wall.
