I’m moving into a new apartment and decorating. And I’d like something like an Asian modern theme, but I want to avoid anything over the top or kitsch. Like I don’t want paper lanterns or geisha statues everywhere. But I would like simple, clean lines, with an urban feel like a modern Tokyo apartment. I’ve got some square dinnerware, and a few metal vases with sprays of cherry blossoms. Any ideas?

   Love the idea… maybe paper latern style lamps would bring the feel…

   Craft stores would be a great place to start or even a fabric store to change any upholstery

   Bring in a Feng shui expert. Might be pricey but they’ll kit it out for you.
