I’m 24 with no kids and In college. I don’t know how I want to decorate my new apartment that I’m moving in Friday. This will be my 2nd aparment. Have any ideas how I should decorate? Is there a website where i can get some bachelor pad ideas? I really need help.

   Urban classic is your best approach. Something simply elegant and comfortable for anyone who visits. as well as for yourself. Warm chocolate colors in furnishings and sage greens in accents. Anything that doesn’t scream college and posters. Choose simple, contemporary furnishings and fabrics. Less is more. Plush fabrics add a lot to any decor. Do anything you can to not look like a college dorm room so to that end buy real furniture, fabrics and bedding. You will stand out. Get help if you need it from someone who has better decorating choices if you don’t know how. Who wouldn’t want to visit a New York classic pad? And it can be done on a dime.
