This is a tough one, a lease is often so informal that there are no records of it at all. Even formal leases are normally not recorded as it doesn’t involve the title of the property (ie – there are no public records that hold this information)
There are still a couple of things you might want to try.
1) Phone Book from that long ago, many libraries keep books that old.
2) You can find out (through title records which your county holds) who was the owner during that time. From there you can contact the past owner and ask if he/she still has records.
Other avenues are contacting power companies, phone, cable, police and fire stations nearby and asking for records about that particular property from that time.
This is a tough one, but if you’re creative these records exist somewhere.
Are you looking for someone? Your better off doing a “people search” online. You can’t expect management to retain and/or give you that kind of information. Sorry.
That would not be public and the landlord should not give that information out, it violates their privacy.
25 years ago? Even the apartment management won’t have records that far back.
