My boyfriend and I are contemplating moving to Florida. He will may attend Florida Atlantic University as a grad student. Are there any nice, affordable areas to live in about 30 min away from the school. We would need to rent an apartment. I will be working on earning an alternative teaching certification, so it is important that we live in an area that will be conducive to that as well. Any thoughts???

   Yea that area is really nice i actually attend FAU also. Its called Boca Raton that you would be moving to. And its very upper class. I live right outside west palm beach in lake worth. Its about a 15-20 min drive for me to get there. But there are some really reasonable places to live in boynton beach and delray. The campus is very far east. So, your close to the beach/ which means $$$$ but if you can try to get within a few exits of Glades rd. north or south than you will find something more reasonable. Look in the paper

   You could also try like rent.com or realitor.com or something. Anything off Glades or east by the ocean will be pricy.
