what is the difference between the tv show sonford on BET and sanford and son on tv land did lamont move out out or is it a whole diffrent show???

    omg, so weird. I asked my mom this yesterday. turns out, sanford is the same as sanford and son but without the son. you see, Lamont left for some pipe-thingy in Alaska and now it’s just fred. I suppose they thought it was necessary to drop the “&son” when lamont left…
