New apartment with a white bathroom. How can we decorate it?

 - by sanford

My best friend and I are getting ready to move into our first apartment. I opted for the bathroom that guests would be using since my roommate isn’t as neat. I’ve just begun buying, and I realized that I want to decorate the bathroom to look really nice. The walls are white, and we can’t paint. That’s why I was wondering what type of accessories will look classy in a bathroom? I want it to look interesting without the clutter. Thus far, I’ve only got towels and a shower curtain (all navy blue). I’ve never done this before.. can someone help?

How should I decorate my apartment bathroom?

 - by sanford

I have a really nice apartment but I just want some of your creative ideas. The more specific, the better.

The bathroom has a double sink vanity and beige and white tile. The bathroom is narrow and long with a garden tub. I would like it to have an open, light and romantic feel. I like colors like browns, beiges and golds. Neutral colors.

How can I decorate small apartment bathroom with tile?

 - by sanford

I am moving my own one bedroom apartment. I have a bathroom that is no wider then a standard shower/ washer and dryer put together. There is a sink, but no mirror. How can I make a sexy bathroom, where there will be a washer and dryer? I also can’t paint the apartment, or do anything permanent. I was wondering if I could tile it myself, but how would I tile the walls and maybe the floor? with out it being permanent?

How to decorate small apartment bathroom?

 - by sanford

I am renting a new apartment with a relatively small bathroom with white walls that cannot be painted. I have a toss-up between the ways I want to decorate it, but I don’t know how to pull either way off. I was reading some people’s posts from earlier and liked two ideas.
1.) One woman wanted to do a romantic/sexy feel bathroom.. I like the idea, but don’t know how to pull it off?
2.) I like the whole hot pink, black and white, lime scheme, but I don’t know if it might be too much and where I could get the accessories?

Natural Way To Keep A Pleasant Smell In A Bathroom?

 - by sanford

I live in a multi-story building. My bathroom doesn’t have a window, but a trap on one side, like a window in fact, that let some light to come in from a window on the roof of the building. The “problem” is that all the apartments above and below me have the same design, and we all open our traps to this same area, a vertical old closed place that is never cleaned and doesn’t smell very good. Also it allows the air to pass from one apartment to the other.
So I love to open the trap to get the light, but the smell bothers me. I already put a plant to change a bit the air and put some nature there. I am looking maybe for something to hang. I don’t want any chemical solution. Any idea? :)
Thank you in advance!

Bathroom Design Ideas?!?

 - by sanford

Hi everyone!
Ok, so, I’m moving into an apartment next month and I’ve already decorated every room in the house…all I need to decorate is the bathroom. Originally I was going to buy a cute shower curtain and go around what the curtain looked like (colors, etc.) but now I’m thinking I want something unique. I even thought about painting something on the wall to go with whatever my focus was….nothing big. Can someone help me? I thought about a city theme or something like that but I don’t want to go with a beach theme, too cliche!
