My boyfriend and I are moving into an apartment together in May. Its a small, 2 bedroom apartment and we’re both 18 and very low on cash. I want it to feel fun, young and homey. Any ideas or tips on where to look for things or what I can do myself in our new place?

I don’t want to spend a ton of money because college is expensive as it is… I’m gonna be able to take a hand-me-down couch, bedroom dresser and TV. What about furnishing the rest of the apartment?

Also, what are some inexpensive ways to decorate?

Ok so I’m moving in like a week or two and I need some good ideas. Which is better, microfiber or leather couches? And what kind of little decorative crap should i get?

I am graduating from college in a couple of weeks and for my graduation/christmas present from my parents they are going to help me get an apartment. I have bedroom furniture, but I need living room furniture and a tv. I am not sure how i can decorate without spending a lot, but so it will still look nice. Does anyone have any advice?
