I was just informed that my property management company is canceling their contract with the owner of my apartment. What does this mean for the rental agreement since it refers specifically to the property management company as the landlord? Apparently the owner has not been paying them. At the same time I received a notice that my water is going to be shut off because the owner is not paying the home owner’s association fees.
I am knocking out a year of two of college at community college to save money before I transfer to one of the two colleges mentioned. I want to major in Hospitality Management, most likely in Hotel/Resort Management. Here are the pros and cons for me, which one do you think I should choose?
University of Central Florida
- Recently opened an entire college (Rosen College) dedicated to Hospitality Management, including numerous tracks specializing your degree.
- Location! Orlando, Florida, the number one tourist destination in the world.
- Beautiful, new, campus apartments right near all the attractions in Orlando.
- A good career program (or so I’ve heard) A good chance of getting a decent internship.
- Cons – I would have to pay hefty out-of-state tuition fees =( (COA – $29,000) Price is my major gripe with going here…
- My personal favorite!
Penn State (University Park)
- A well respected, top ranking university
- Can pay in state tuition (COA- $23,226)
I understand that Cornell is the best for Hospitality, but there’s no way I’d get into Cornell. I’m smart, but not that smart.
