Why Did The Same People Who Think Sanford Should Resign Defend Bill Clinton?

The affair is a private matter. What cannot be denied is that the leader of a state government left the country with no one – not even his wife – aware of his whereabouts. If there had been a national crisis like Sanford’s state being attacked, his state would have been without leadership.
This is not an issue of Democrats vs. Republicans or of liberals vs. conservatives. I don’t care what party the person is. A politician ditches his responsibilities for a week, that politician is out!

If Sanford Does Not Resign His Office, Then Would All His Republican Beliefs Be Meaningless?
