Like I said, this is my first apartment that is completely mine. No roommates or anything like that. I am looking to decorate it, but I am on a very tight budget. I am allowed to paint the walls, (thank goodness, because right now they are a hideous mix between cantelaupe and poo.) What are some good color combinations, and fun, cute ways to decorate.
*Note: Ideas for things that could double as storage would be great as well…there is only one small closet.

I want some suggestions for a simple, girly, apartment, Mainly in the living room.

Ok so I moved in to my apartment in May and since then I have decorated my kitchen and bathroom. I still need to cover the living room and my bedroom. Note that I live in a one bedroom apartment with my boyfriends, So obviously nothing girly. I want to keep in classic and chic but I do have a budget. I am considering painting a wall in the living room, but that is a last resort.

i’m decorating my good friend’s new apartment all on my own, and i don’t have a big budget. the problem is: he has NOTHING.

i already know about places like ikea and pier 1…which has really unique, cool stuff. but what other places have affordable furniture and decor?

and what are some tips for decorating a guy’s apartment? i could easily design a couples, or a girls apartment, but with a guy…it’s kind of hard.

Guys…what are some must-haves in your apartments?

I want a BIG dog, but it has to be a dog that will be comfortable living in a city condo…

I know a lot of small dogs can bark a lot which I would like to avoid, but a large dog is impractical for my one bedroom flat. This will be my first dog on my own as well. Any information would be appreciated.
