How would you decorate an apartment…?

 - by sanford

I live in a subsidized apartment community. You are not allowed to paint, the floors are all tile, and the place looks absolutely horrible. I want to decorate my apartment so that it has nice colors on the walls (like drapes or something) and just a “home-y” feeling. What are some cheap ways to completely change the apartment without painting?
P.S. One wall in both the living room and the bedrooms are taken up by a row of windows.
And are there any flooring options that will stay in place but will easily remove without messing up the tile when I am ready to move?
I haven’t decorated yet, because I am currently waiting for the apartment to be ready… But I do have a few african dolls and masks for the living room. I also have a circular mirror with gold swirls coming off of it and candle holders on it.

I’m Decorating my small apartment and would like a Broadway Theme?

 - by sanford

I have a one bedroom – one bathroom apartment. I have several broadway posters framed and a lot of collectabiles that I want to display. In the bathroom I have a theater inspired shower curtin. I just want some ideas for what I can do to decorate. I rent – so I can’t paint or do anything crazy to the walls. Any suggestions would help!

What kind of animal would make a great pet for apartment style living?

 - by sanford

I am looking at different options for pets to live in an apartment. I’m not talking about cats or dogs (and want something bigger than a hamster or rat). I’m looking for something different, an animal that can be trained to use a litter box or something similar, that doesn’t really “smell,” is easy to train and doesn’t make lots of noise. Also one that enjoys human attention. Any ideas?

Would you recommend moving to Orlando, FL and going to the University of Central Florida?

 - by sanford

Hey everyone. I’m currently a Junior in high school living in Massachusetts with my parents. I want to move to Florida, (and I’m convincing my parents too), and if you live in Florida, and go to the University of Central Florida, tuition is only about $4,000 a year. So, you have to be a resident for at least 1 year. Would you recommend moving down there right before my senior year, and then going to college there afterwards? Can anyone give me anymore information on this school? Thanks!
